ALPLUS
The studio

Small, senior, and still on the hook.

Alplus Technologies is a software engineering and product studio run by Paul Badarau. You talk to the person who designs and writes your software. There is no account manager, and nothing gets passed down a chain.

Why owning products changes the work

An agency is paid to deliver. It is rarely paid to be right a year later. That gap is where most software quietly rots: the integration nobody renewed, the migration nobody planned for, the dependency nobody updated.

We build and run our own products, so we are the ones who get the alert at 2am. It has made us conservative about dependencies, blunt about scope, and unusually interested in the boring parts: backups, releases, observability, and the cost of a decision three years out.

When we take on client work, that is the discipline you are buying. Not a bigger team, but a shorter distance between the person deciding and the person responsible.

01 How we work
01

A small number of things at once

We take on few projects deliberately. Attention is the scarce resource in this work, and splitting it is how quality goes.

02

Native where it matters, boring where it counts

Swift and SwiftUI on Apple platforms rather than a cross-platform compromise. Durable, unexciting infrastructure underneath, currently Cloudflare's edge for almost everything we run.

03

Built to be operated, not just delivered

Every system we hand over is one we would be willing to keep running ourselves. Usually we do.

04

Privacy as an engineering default

Several of our apps hold no personal data on any server we control, because the local-first version was the better design and not only the safer one.

02 Where we are
Built in Europe ALPLUS TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L., CUI 55013997. Registered here, working here.
Heading toward Latin America A stated direction of travel, and a real influence on how this studio thinks about building. We do not have an office there. When we do, this line will say so.
Working with Clients anywhere Our own products already ship in 33 languages. Distance has not been the hard part.

European engineering discipline is where we come from. Latin America is where our attention has gone. We would rather say that plainly than put a flag on a page.
